Anthea has been volunteering for the Cornwall Marine Strandings Network for years and has now joined in an official capacity. She mans the hotline, works through all the reports and photos, deals with public enquiries and manages all the data. Chances are, if you have rung about a stranding, you have spoke to Anthea!
The role is hugely valuable for the conservation of our ocean species - the yearly report informs government policy on the marine environment so we are really lucky to have Anthea. She has a strong stomach for all those photos!
