Heathland Invertebrates Workshop

Green Tiger Beetle by Steve Jones

Our Cornish heathlands can make the perfect habitat for a variety of invertebrate species with their mosaics of bare ground, fine-leaved grasses, heather and scrub. For this workshop, we will begin with an indoor session introducing the importance of this habitat and the range of invertebrate groups found there, before exploring the local heathland habitats to see what we can find living there.
