The Environmental Records Centre for Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly are looking for a Data Officer to join the team. We’re looking for someone with excellent IT and communication skills to work within the Data Management team and represent ERCCIS to the wider recording community in Cornwall.
The ERCCIS Data Officer will be responsible for managing and processing data including the validation and verification of biological records, providing support to local recorders / groups, and managing ERCCIS communication via websites, news articles, social media and e-newsletters. The post will be responsible for leading the delivery of the ERCCIS Hedges project, working with a team of volunteer to produce the Hedges of Cornwall GI layer.
Salary: £20,000 pro rata; part time (4 days per week) for 6 months. Work hours are between 8.30am and 4.30pm, Monday to Friday with occasional weekend working maybe required.
